Standards Wise has been called on by organisations and government across Australia to advise on the transition to the new Aged Care Quality Standards from the 1st July 2019. This has involved completing gap analysis across States, staff training in consumer focus/customer service, and the development/redesign of organisational policies.

This is the biggest change in aged care in the last 20 years and will bring about significant change. The Royal Commission into Ageing is also expected to recommend reforms to the industry as it struggles to cope with safety concerns, higher community expectations, and outdated approaches and attitudes to ageing.
